First 24 hours in Israel

Well, I flew in and went straight to the office. I was there until late last night then went straight to the hotel and crashed. This morning, however, I decided to walk around a little and see what was around me and try to find some differences in everyday US life and here.

What did I find? So far it appears that 90% of everyone here speaks english even though 70% of everything is written in Hebrew, hotel towels are square (not rectangular), no one washes their car, bikes ride on one side of the sidewalk and pedestrians walk on the other, food portions are much smaller and people look at me funny when I talk. More news to come but in the mean time, here are a few pics I took on my walk this morning.
